Reading a certificate
Confirm the product name, lot number, test date, stated method, measured result, and issuing laboratory. Do not apply a result to a different product or lot.
Limits of a certificate
A certificate reports only the tests and results stated on that document.
It does not establish safety, efficacy, regulatory approval, fitness for a particular purpose, sterility, or suitability for administration to a person or animal.
This applies unless the document expressly and lawfully says so.
